wowcar.ua supports market transparency and the protection of future buyers. We do not remove accurate historical information solely because ownership has changed, but we review every request individually.

A lot page describes the vehicle only as it appeared at the relevant auction. wowcar.ua does not claim that the vehicle remains in the same condition today.
Why this information exists
Vehicle history helps buyers make informed decisions, reduces fraud risk, and supports market transparency.
Historical information that may be displayed
- VIN
- photographs
- vehicle condition and damage description
- auction date
- historical specifications
When information may be changed
- technical error
- incorrect VIN
- duplicate lot
- incorrect or unreliable data
- a requirement under applicable law
When information is generally not removed
Historical information is generally not removed where the only reason is:
- a change of ownership
- completion of repairs
- a later sale of the vehicle
- a wish to stop the public display of accurate historical information
How requests are reviewed
- we review the supplied information and documents
- we may request additional information
- we assess accuracy and applicable legal grounds
- we record the decision and its reasoning
Law and the right to erasure
The right to erasure is not absolute. Each request is assessed on its individual circumstances, the accuracy of the information, the requester’s rights, and legitimate interests in market transparency.
Submitting a request does not automatically remove information, hide photographs, or change a lot.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the VIN still visible?
The VIN connects a historical record to a particular vehicle. Its display may be changed if it is incorrect or other substantiated grounds apply.
The vehicle has been repaired. Why are the old photos still shown?
The photographs show the vehicle at the time of auction, not its current condition after repair.
I am the new owner. Can the history be removed?
A change of ownership alone is generally not a reason to remove accurate historical information.
Can only one photograph be removed?
You may submit such a request using the form. The decision depends on the image, its connection to the vehicle, and the grounds provided.
